A marvelous event will take place on Beaver Island beginning July 30, 2009. A festival of classic music will begin on July 30, 2009, and it will continue through August 2, 2009. The program of events is:

| August 1 | 7:30 p.m. | Holy Cross Parish Hall | "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Orange" featuring "Brandenburg Concerto #3, works by Earl Kim and Lee Holby, Purcell's "Ode to St. Cecelia" with the Baroque on Beaver Orchestra and performances by Martha Guth and friends |
| August 2 | 2:00 p.m. | Holy Cross Parish Hall | "Blessings on Our Fair Isle" featuring the Baroque on Beaver Festival Chorus and orchestra perfoming works by Respighi, Bach, Haydn; solo performances by Len Allman, trumpet and Martha Guth; closing with John Rutter's "Gaelic Blessing" |
